happy holidays

Chomping fair rock candy on the front the skies are rumbling on Christmas day over the Atlantic sea that laps at Brighton shores.  The history of this coast when both piers were sawn in pieces to stop an invasion is never far apart.  Having read blistering accounts of the effects of bombs on the beach crunching our feet on the pebbly sands has a terrifying cutting edge.  This is Christmas day and there is much to celebrate with the lights flashing on the Palace Pier all day.  We hang loose waiting for dusk and the starlings to swarm over the pier.  The day unfolds like magic as we hope yours has too.
