bright breeze

Taking a walk in the footsteps of one of the characters of our latest play, ‘The Idiot’ we imagine what the Pier would look like during 1943.  Brighton is full of Winter weather today but still there is a silver colour shooting out between the fragile grey skies overhead that is our backdrop today.  We always look on the bright side during a Wintry seaside walk and this stroll gives us the twist to the plot as on the way back we loose our way amongst the winding roads of the Brighton Lanes.  Finally we find what we are looking for - a cup of tea and a dark side to the shadows in the play.  The silver linings to the clouds today make the writing momentarily crystal clear and a wonderful actress Kara (pictured above) takes a few strides deeper into the mind of the play’s youngest character.  Amongst the candy floss and fair rock our youthful innocence is bliss.
