Road to nowhere.  Um Reichstag actually.

Walking up Strasse des 17. juni
Funny how the date feels safe almost optimistic an
I look it up on wikipedia
(English- 17th June Street) is a street in central Berlin, the capital of Germany.
There is a flea market with no fleas here apparently.  Just as well.
I do not feel safe in the empty space as shown above. the cars went slow and stared at me walking alone
Ripped clothing was on some of the trees that were experiencing a rapid Fall
This road was a no mans land of the west before the wall came down.
It is now all spruced up with wonderful vibrantly coloured trees.
In days of yore the royal hunting route shot by here shouting tally hoo!
It is resplendent but lonely and suspicious .
A few walkers in expensive branded outdoor clothes do a route march past me they are organised and cannot stop for they know where they are going and I do not.
I walk on going against the direction of any royal carriage on the way to the hunt.  I go towards the Reichstag alone thinking a road with a date in it always tells a story.  This road tells the story of bravery.
Mary should have a road.  Here’s to Strasse des 6 april  1752
Only not here.  Somewhere else.  In Henley.
