water is high on undercliff walk

An underground tunnel links the path our heroine takes from the street to the beach where a bullet is fired.  Russian roulette gone wrong?  All was revealed at Komedia Brighton on Gardner Street last night where we performed our short play ‘The Idiot’ to a wonderful audience who gave us their thoughts on the work after wards.  We found Komedia to be one of the warmest venues who found the perfect lighting design to give the words colour but shade.  Shadows like the characters flickered over the studio stage as actresses Ciara O’Toole, Kara Spriggs and Sebastienne Wynne-Williams told the story of scallywags living during world war two in a Brighton hideaway.

The water was high last night too as we walked to the venue in hailing rain storms but our enthusiasm for the inspiring Story Studio event we were to be part of could not be doubted.  Brighton rocks!
