Evergreen tree grows up above the castle waiting for the lights.  The beaming orange glare on the four foot thick walls would have been from torches of fire in 1650 a terrifying start to the walk to the gallows with the flickering shadows of the Gallows tree ahead.  Thankfully this tree above has happier purposes standing bare, ready for the hand made decorations and traditional Christmas fares and celebration to fill the yard.
