Roads are purely empty walking into town.  This is the path the stage coaches for London would have trudged in the 18th century.  Now Oxford’s newest University, Brookes, sits either side.  The Student Union has taken over Robert Maxwell’s former home which is tucked behind the wall on your right as you look on the screen.  The pickets of Pergamon Press were a permanent feature of this path a decade or so ago.
