Half way through the run is a great time to take stock of the show and most importantly the audience responses which I have enjoyed hearing after all performances. The gnarly national flower of the show’s hero aka Captain Cranstoun’s thistle still greets me every morning as I walk to the performance along Princes Street garden. I first got the idea of the piece from sitting on a wooden bench there so it is a delight to link up the beginning to the end in such a floral way. Of course this marks the half way mark and still lots of work to be done. Hope you enjoy the fruits of the labour!
