Tall trees dog the sky line of the horizon - walking down Headington Hill to the Eastern part of Oxford called St Clements. This exact view point was captured many times by Turner’s watercolours. Today it is full of snow and nature has filled in the gaps I find in his paintings hung on the walls of Oxford’s Ashmolean museum.
