Week one of the Fringe is half way through and the downhill slope after lots of learning curve feels a happy one.  The old town stone looks shiny in the incessant rain and the weather is cleaning away the cobwebs.  This is August however so we await the sunny times to see the Royal Mile full pelt with colourful furry angels and jugglers on the Mound.  Lots of famous TV faces around town and flyers are flying everywhere.  Some are soaking and soggy wet from rain.  A great trade in waterproof gear to be had on Princes Street today.
