storm clouds and strong tea brewing

A charge of rage is stirring over the Atlantic with a plastic spoon digging up the last bit of sugar lump in the bottom of a polystyrene cup.  We are stirred today by the storms and overnight disruptive winds that have torn trees apart in parks and make driving on roads a bracing experience.  Everything on the shore looks to stand firm.  Including the exciting sculpture you can see stage left on the picture above.  Sculpture is meant to endure through its ideas but luckily the form of this heavy weight monster means it also endures the torrents of wind and blasts of rain not to mention the ebb and flow of the tide.  The day rolls on as we step over loose branches that have fallen on the prom.  The pebbles on the beach are round and as they were.  Having survived a face full of the storm we too feel strong and built to last.
