Clearing the path.  Out in the open.

This is how London feels this week walking along Downing Street as the officials clear the path for the Obama visit.  The silence of the guards on parade is broken briefly by a driver yelling ‘I know who’s coming tomorrow!’  So the secret’s out.  Lots of secrets are out this week as Twitter makes the news with the Super Injunction debate.  To know or not know if your partner is being fair minded, that is definitely the question.  However hard you love is maybe how hard you fall.  Mary had a big secret.

Later in the day Whitehall is empty.  You can hear a pin drop in the intense security.  Secretary of State Pelham in 1752 orchestrated one of the largest UK’s manhunt to find Mary’s lover from this street.  Only she knows if she knew the powder she fed her father was about to kill him.  If Twitter had been around there she would have used it to protest her innocence.  Now with her letters published the public decides for themselves.
